JFK
  • One of the most infamous speeches of JFK during his presidency was the famous "I am a Berliner". Although speculation claims he actually said was it translated to mean "I am a jelly donut", when you look at the mechanics of a native Berliner and that of a person who is not...he actually said it right.   • The assassination of JFK is probably one of the most controversial and speculated in all history. Below you will see the actual real footage. Watch carefully and then be prepared to research and debate the many theories.

  • Lyndon Johnson was able to support his nickname "Landslide Lyndon" after the easy defeat of Barry Goldwater in the 1964 Election. But it was more than America favoring the Democrats, it was also about Goldwater and his denial of Civil Rights and support for nuclear weaponery in the military. Vietnam
  • Prepare yourself to complete one of the following projects as an overall assessment of the Vietnam unit: scrapbook, magazine article, collage, guidebook, or comparison, as well as a possible free choice (that must be teacher approved).

Nixon
  • Based on the scandal that ended his presidency, Nixon's wrong doings were foiled by a confidential informant known as "Deep Throat". Finally, in 2005, he came forward and identified himself to the public. Read the CNN press release.
